Evidence of Work: Step one was the building blocks for our project; it was the initial stuff we needed to know and do to be able to move on and get the ball rolling. The first thing we needed to do was brainstorm an idea. So we started talking about ideas that came to mind and what we're interested in and somehow after conversing we got to commuter bikes. Then after we had our talk big we made a plan of action and how we're going to carry out everything we're going to do. We put a lot of consideration into the problem this would solve and who would benefit the most from this. As we gathered information we started to create our initial project proposal and now we're moving from there.
Content: With this project the main issue that we were addressing is pollution. We plan to design a modestly priced commuter bike that is solar-powered for city use. As well as being solar-powered if you are in a tight spot and need some extra battery we want to make it so there is a way to plug in the bike to an outlet although it's not clean as solar it's still better than burning fuel. We do have a lot of competition in this field seeing that there are already many electric bikes but we want to make one that's more affordable and accessible as well as being cleaner for the environment. As we went through this process we talked about the pros and cons of everything we wanted and what we wanted to be a part of it and things that we demanded to be a part of it.

Reflection: Design step one has gone fairly well for a team although it's been hard to keep up with the deadlines we are still getting through all of our work and pushing through. We even made a group chat outside of just talking in class so we can have the extra communication. I feel like we've collaborated well as a group and come up with a bunch of very strong ideas for our project moving forward. As the project continues I hope to be a bigger and bigger part of my team. I've got along with all of my group members and I know things will keep going well for us.
